More Energy for PGI. PGI Energy Team scores a record year in 2008 as it was involved in all major Alternative Energies deals occurred in Italy by either representing energy plant developers, equipment manufacturers, utilities and funds.

The year 2009 starts with the same positive trend as PGI Energy team has assisted Element Power, a company owned by the fund Hudson Clean Energy Partners, to set its Italian operations that plans to be a major player in the Alternative Energies sector in the next months.

The Energy Team was established in 1996 when we represented a German wind turbine manufacturer in one of the very first investments in a wind park in Southern Italy. At that time, there were only few renewable energy plants and big market players were not yet in Italy. Since 1996 the Italian renewable energy scenario has developed and other alternative energy sources, mainly solar and PV energy, have become particularly popular in our country. As a consequence of the growth and development of the Italian renewable energy market, our Energy Team has expanded significantly and it now includes 2 partners and 4 senior associates and 4 assistants advising Italian and foreign companies involved in all sectors of renewable energy. In addition, we have developed a network of consultants, technical advisors, and financing institution involved in all aspects of the development and financing of renewable energy plants both locally and internationally.
